Invoice in Spain: FACe, PEPPOL and Facturae.

VeriFactu applies from January 1, 2027 (companies) and July 1, 2027 (self-employed). Kworia routes Spanish e-invoices to the AEAT over the es-aeat-verifactu network at our provider, and covers Facturae for FACe and PEPPOL for B2B. Free to start.

Why Spanish Businesses Choose Kworia

AEAT Routing

Every Spanish e-invoice we send carries the es-aeat-verifactu network, so our provider submits it to the AEAT. We do not yet produce the VeriFactu QR code on the invoice itself — VeriFactu applies from January 1, 2027 for companies and July 1, 2027 for the self-employed, and this page will say so when the QR ships.

NIF Checks

NIF/VAT format + VIES pre-checks with Spanish specifics. Users remain responsible for AEAT validation.

FACe + PEPPOL

Send to the Spanish public sector via FACe (Facturae) and to private companies via PEPPOL. One platform, all needs.

Spanish E-Invoicing Compliance

Spain's calendar is now set: VeriFactu applies from 2027 (companies January 1, self-employed July 1); B2G invoicing via FACe is already required; and the Crea y Crece B2B mandate (Royal Decree 238/2026) starts October 2027 for companies above €8M turnover, October 2028 for everyone else. This is what Kworia does today:

  • AEAT routing over the es-aeat-verifactu network at our provider
  • PEPPOL delivery through our access-point provider, ready for the Crea y Crece B2B mandate
  • NIF/VAT format + VIES pre-checks (users confirm AEAT records)
  • Facturae and UBL 2.1 (PEPPOL BIS) format support

The same rules extend to autónomos and remaining businesses.

  4. October 2027

B2B e-invoicing extends to all companies and the self-employed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kworia VeriFactu-compliant?

Not yet, and here is exactly where we stand: we route Spanish e-invoices to the AEAT over the es-aeat-verifactu network at our provider, and we do not yet produce the VeriFactu QR code on the invoice itself. VeriFactu applies from January 1, 2027 for companies and July 1, 2027 for the self-employed; this page will say so when the QR ships. FACe (B2G) via Facturae and the Crea y Crece B2B mandate over PEPPOL are covered today.

Do you support FACe for invoicing the public sector?

Yes. Kworia generates Facturae for the FACe platform, which is already required for B2G invoicing in Spain. PEPPOL handles private B2B.

How does NIF validation work?

We run NIF/VAT format + VIES pre-checks to flag issues. Please confirm official AEAT records for accuracy before sending.

Can I invoice clients in other EU countries?

Yes! Through PEPPOL, you can send e-invoices to 28+ European countries, including all EU members. Cross-border format conversion is automatic.
